Deluxe Gulets offer superior service with a larger, highly professional crew (4-6 members) including an experienced captain, gourmet chef, and dedicated host/hostess. Crew salaries are included in the base charter price. The service is personalized, comparable to a five-star hotel, with attention to detail regarding food, drinks, and daily activities.
How is the food service managed, and can we customize the menu?
On Deluxe Gulets, the food service is highly flexible and fully customizable. Prior to the charter, you fill out a detailed preference sheet specifying dietary needs, favorite cuisines, and beverages. The gourmet chef prepares meals fresh daily. Payment for food and beverages is typically covered by an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), ensuring the highest quality of ingredients.
Do Deluxe Gulets require an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA)?
Yes, most Deluxe and Super Gulets operate under the **APA system** (typically 25-30% of the charter fee), similar to luxury motor yachts. This fund covers your variable expenses, including **gourmet provisions, beverages, fuel for cruising**, and any optional docking fees outside the home port. Any unused APA is refunded to you at the end of the charter.
What kind of water sports equipment is included?
Deluxe Gulets are generously equipped. Standard inclusions often feature a tender for transfers, kayaks, paddleboards (SUP), and snorkeling gear. Many large models also provide higher-end equipment such as a jet ski, wakeboard, or SeaBob.
